September Farm Dinner
Join Master Food Preserver James in our new future Tasting Room for a hands-on how-to-make-jam class (pickles too if time allows!). $15 for a hour-and-a-half class, and you take two jars of jam home with you! Choose from 9:30am, 11:30am, or 1:30pm on Sat or Sun – just call us ASAP to reserve, as each class is limited to 6 people.
As everything is early early early, that means U-Pick Apples will open early – August 25/26, then weekends 10-4 while supplies last. Make two dates, come for early apples, then later for different varieties.
Peaches are a bargain! Tree-run half bushels $20! All seconds on sale. (Take the class then stop in for peaches to make more jam… makes a fantastic gift for Christmas!)
Tomatoes are ready! Let the sauce-making begin. Get lots or get a little… but eat your tomatoes early and often during this magical time of summer.
Our September farm dinner will be a Friday night – September 21 at 7:30. Reserve your seats now! And look for Soons to be included in an upcoming Chronogram article about the burgeoning farm-to-table trend (we’re proud to say we started our dinners w/ Chef Shawn in 2009!)
