La Mesa: Latin American Table
This delightful evening will bring the flavors of Latin American cuisine to Hyde Park, NY at The Culinary Institute of America. Starting at 6 p.m. specialty cocktails and hors d’oeuvre will be served, followed by a four-course dinner. The evening will also feature giveaways such as quince jam, pate de fruits (fruit jellies), and spiced caramels. Tickets are $85 and proceeds will benefit the Chef Robert Briggs Memorial Scholarship Fund and Freedom 4/24—an organization dedicated to stop child slavery and human sex trafficking. September 22, 2012The late, great Andy Warhol once said, “Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes.” The senior class at The Culinary Institute of America invites guests to an evening that starts with a reception accompanied by a silent auction. Guests will then enjoy a four-course meal prepared by students of the senior class as well as dance and relish in the music of The Big Band Sound.
