Fall Foliage Festival in Highland Falls, NY—October 18th, 2014, rain or shine. Find over 100 vendors, great live music, street entertainment and a whole lot more.
Pennings Farm in Warwick, NY—through the end of November you can go to the U-Pick for over 15 varieties of apples and take part in hayrides, pumpkin picking, listen to live music, or dine at the pub & grill.
Pine Bush Farmers Market in Pine Bush, NY—local musicians fill the air on Saturdays and in October you can stock up on fresh, local vegetables as well as pies, breads, cheeses, sweets, and canning fruits.
Maples Farm and Garden Center in Middletown, NY—fall is the perfect time to do some planting of trees and shrubs or bulbs for next spring. Find all that you need at this garden center plus potted arrangements, fall yard and garden décor, and seasonal gifts in their store.
Lawrence Farms Orchards in Newburgh, NY—Pick your own fruits and vegetables here. You will find over ten varieties of apples, grapes, peppers, greens, eggplant, tomatoes, pumpkins, squash, and more. You may come across a chicken or two wandering around and be sure to ask about their homemade doughnuts!
Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery in Warwick, NY—This winery and its wonderful tasting room are open year round. There is live music every Saturday and Sunday and the orchards open for apple and pear picking ever fall.
