Breakfast is sure to be a highlight of your stay at the Caldwell House Bed and Breakfast, our romantic Hudson River Valley Inn. Taste wonderful flavors and meet friendly and interesting guests. The Dining Room in the Main House with its historic light burgundy-colored walls and original windows, wide plank wood floors, and fireplace is furnished with a lovely formal table and chairs. A charming mahogany china cabinet filled with a teapot collection enhances the appearance of the room.
When the Inn is full, we host breakfast in the lovely and spacious “Great Room” in our Connemara House.
Breakfast, which is served at 9 a.m., consists of three large, delicious courses. Dietary restrictions, with prior notification, are always honored. A menu of the day complete with the first names of the guests, the weather, an Irish Blessing, and “This Day in History” is provided each morning.
We view breakfast as a celebration of the dawn of a new day. Whenever possible, we buy from local farms to assure you get the freshest and healthiest of ingredients. The Dining Room, which looks much like it did when John Caldwell, Sr. dined here, provides an invigorating, yet cozy ambiance that welcomes you and your fellow guests.
