THE MAIN HOUSE
The guestrooms in the Main House each contain the original wide-pine floors and door hardware – dating back to 1803, and private en-suite bathrooms with showers (two with a Jacuzzi tub). Guests are encouraged to relax in any of the public spaces – the Living/Game Room, the Parlor, the front porch, or the grounds – and enjoy all that the fully stocked kitchenette – complete with refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig, available for use at any time of the day – has to offer.
Antrim Room
Once the Owner’s Quarters, the Antrim Room is the only first-floor guestroom in the Main House. Tucked away in the back corner, the Antrim Room offers tranquility and quiet that allows you to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. A beautiful gas fireplace provides an added level of romance not found in any hotel room. If the lovely aroma of Dena’s breakfast hasn’t woken you, the sweet sound of nearby birds singing in the morning just might.

Butter Hill Room
Inspired by Dutch colonists’ original name for Storm King Mountain, the Butter Hill Room evokes the region’s history with beautiful 19th century details. This charming room offers a lovely queen-size sleigh bed, Queen Anne chairs, antique English armoire, historic engravings hanging on the walls painted with colors that remind you of the buttercups that line the local fields, and a roomy private en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Named for the historic Moodna Creek, which adjoins our property and meanders its way throughout Orange County before finally finding its way into the Hudson River, this sun-filled room with its soft green walls offers you a cozy and romantic atmosphere.

Trestle Room
This guestroom is named for the nearby historic landmark, the Moodna Viaduct Trestle, which crosses the local valley. The length of the trestle is nearly two thirds of a mile, and it hovers nearly 20 stories above the ground.

POLICIES
- We serve a gourmet breakfast in our dining room each morning at 9am.
- With prior notification, we are happy to accommodate any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Please let us know in advance, so we can assure you of having the freshest ingredients available.
- Cancellations: We will refund your charge up to 10 days prior to your arrival date, minus a $50 service charge. After that date, your total booking amount will not be refundable.
- Check-in time is after 2 and it is now all self-check in. Check-out time is 11 AM.
- You are welcome to smoke on our porch or on the grounds where ashtrays are provided, but not inside any of the buildings on the property. NYS Law prohibits indoor smoking.
- We do not allow children under 12 to stay at the Inn unless you book all of the rooms. We appreciate your understanding of this policy since we are a romantic getaway for couples. Children will incur a fee of $50.
- With prior notice, some of our rooms can accommodate a third person, for an additional $50 fee; please inquire at the time of your reservation.
- We cannot allow pets due to potential allergy problems. We are happy to assist you in locating local boarding services.

The Caldwell House is designated as historic under local law (§ 36.405 Alterations: Historic preservation.). Thus, completing all accessible alterations would destroy the historical significance of the property.
