The Catskill Mountain Railroad Christmas Express
Taking place November 27-29 at 4pm and 6pm, and December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 at 4pm and 6pm. Travel to Catskill Mountain Railroad in Kingston, NY for this festive adventure. Passengers will take a 60-minute trip through the Catskill Forest to Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole. To stay safe, you will be riding in their open-air flat cars which, which will be festively lit and decorated. Come bundled up and bring a blanket!
Arboretum Holiday Lights In Bloom
A favorite of locals and visitors alike, Holiday Lights in Bloom will be happening November 27 – December 27 from 5–8pm at the Orange County Arboretum in Montgomery, NY. This program is FREE to the public and a fun event to check out during your stay.
A Frost Fest
The talented people at the popular Headless Horseman Hayrides bring a new family fun holiday light spectacular that is unlike any other. Taking place on select days and times from November 27 – December 27 at 778 Broadway in Ulster Park, NY. This is a drive-thru experience enjoyed in the comfort of your own vehicle and online tickets must be purchased in advance.
A Christmas Carol
This holiday favorite will be happening at the Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck from December 4 – 20, Friday – Sunday at 7pm. The uniqueness of this event is that this will be a drive-in live theater experience! Just park your heated car and watch an incredible live show from the comfort and safety of your vehicle.
