The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY showcases its talents and signature dishes at four diverse restaurants. At each of the award-winning restaurants, students execute the meal and service under the guidance of expert chef instructors and maîtres d’hôtel.
March kicks off the next CIA Dining Series and The Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici has some special events you will not want to miss. This restaurant offers truly authentic Italian cuisine in an elegant, sophisticated atmosphere. The dining room overlooks a beautiful herb and rose garden, and the Tuscan-style décor transports each guest to another part of the world for one special evening.

North Meets South – A five course culinary experience with food from North to South Italy. March 12, 2014 at 11:30am – $35.
Cooking With Wine – Learn how the distinct wines of Italy enhance food each of the dishes in this four-course meal. March 19, 2014 at 11:30am – $35.
Black Tie and Truffles – The rare truffle, called “culinary gold,” will be highlighted in each dish during this stunning meal. March 27, 2014 at 11:30am – $55

Between Two Seas – Castello Monaci – Learn how the wines from the Castello Monaci winery are created so uniquely and then sample some favorites paired with signature dishes from Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici. March 6, 2014 at 6pm – $70.
A Wine Tour of Italy – Sample wines from across the famous regions of Italy and then enjoy an elegant meal that pairs perfectly with each of the wines. April 3, 2014 at 6pm – $65
