Restaurant Spotlight: Hudson Taco Brings the Heat to Newburgh

With over 300 reviews on Google and a 4.5-star rating, Hudson Taco is gaining fans from all over. Owners, Nick Citera and Nicolas DiBrizzi, who also own and operate four locations of Cosimo’s restaurants as well as the Pizza Shop, desired to open an eclectic Mexican eatery. They were inspired to create a social concept with a menu designed for sharing. Housed in the West Shore Train Station, Hudson Taco also has a fantastic 60-foot enclosed patio, giving patrons a panoramic view of the river and the Highlands.
The menu shows inventive dishes that highlight Hudson Valley farms and ingredients. You will find favorites such as beef and pork tacos and nachos but also delicious options such as Korean barbecue short rib tacos, tuna poke, and build-your-own bowls. The extensive wine list was created with purpose to ensure all choices pair well with the features on the menu. Their “off-peak” happy hour is very popular with locals and visitors alike. Monday through Friday from 4:30-6:30pm you can grab $5 margaritas, mojitos, Newburgh Brewing’s corn lager, tacos, and more!
