A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC – GREATER NEWBURGH SYMPHONY

In 1955 I graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School in Pleasantville, NY. For eight years I was taught by the Newburgh Dominicans. Little did I know that fifty years later I would live 20 minutes from their main convent. On Saturday, September 25, at 7PM they are being honored along with the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor. Like corporations the two religious communities have merged and now are called the Dominican Sisters of Hope. A special concert honoring them is being held at Aquinas Hall, Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh. I hope to see you there. http://www.newburghsymphony.org/
