With Mother’s Day coming up next month, we wanted to give you some easy and thoughtful ideas on how you can honor and celebrate the special mother(s) in your life.
Ways to Celebrate Your Mother
Make a one-of-a-kind book of handwritten notes – In the day and age of email, texts and emojis, there is something special about receiving an actual handwritten note! Gather notes from other family members and compile for a memorable book for Mom
Shoot a video – Grab your phone and film short snippets of family members sharing messages of appreciation and favorite memories of times with Mom.
Pay it Forward – Did you mother love a certain area or a particular organization, ministry, or group? Consider donating to a place in her name! If she gave her time or resources to help others, continue volunteering or giving so her memory lives on.
Plant a special flower or tree – Get your hands dirty and honor your mother by planting a tree or flower that she loves. Every time you tend to it or walk by, you will think of her!
