The Caldwell House Bed and Breakfast is proud to announce the opening of four new guest rooms. This brings the total number of rooms at our award winning B&B to ten – six in the Main House and four in the Carriage House.
The newly refurbished Carriage House was originally built in the early 1800s to house the Caldwell’s horse carriages. We have done everything in our power to keep the original structure intact while making it a comfortable, romantic, rustic – yet state of the art – place for our guests to relax in luxury. Each Carriage Houseroom has its own individual HVAC settings, a ceiling fan, lovely hard wood floors, and stately, yet comfortable, furnishings.
Among the amenities included in each room are a fireplace, large flat-screened “smart TV” (complete with Netflix, Hulu+, and other internet accessible applications), an iPad for your use and an iHome clock/radio/charger. You will find lots of sitting/reading space and room to cozy up to the fire. Access to the common areas amenities (see below) is available to all Carriage House guests. Gilchrist and Soames soaps, shampoo, and conditioner are available for your use as are our comfy Caldwell House bathrobes.

Next to the Carriage House is our little outdoor Chapel.
The Storm King Room (named after the nearby Storm King ArtCenter) is located on the ground floor level and comes with a Queen Bed. We were able to keep much of the original wood and stonework in place, giving the room a feel of a bygone era. Storm King‘s bathroom comes complete with a Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower.
The Freedom Trail Room (named after the nearby famous “FreedomRoad“) is one of the two rooms on the ground floor level and comes with its own private entrance from the outside and a beautiful queen-sized sleigh bed. Freedom Trail’s bathroom comes complete with a Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower.
The Vineyard Room (named after local wineries such as Brotherhood, America’s Oldest Winery, and others on the ShawangunkWine Trail) is located in the secluded back half of the second floor providing our guests with a “peaceful, easy feeling” to help them sleep blissfully in its lovely King-sized bed.
The Trophy Point Room (named after the famous Trophy Point site on the grounds of the USMA at West Point) is located on the front half of the second floor. Lots of sunshine will greet our guests from the windows overlooking the property facing the main B&B House.
The handsome King-sized bed will assure you a blissful night’s sleep.
